Integrity and Member Protection at Taringa Rovers
At Taringa Rovers Soccer Football Club, we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all players, volunteers, spectators, and visitors. We take behaviour management seriously and encourage everyone to familiarise themselves with our Behaviour Management Policies.
If you have concerns, questions, or wish to discuss any matters related to behaviour, safety, or member protection, please reach out to our Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO), Anthea Gargett. You can contact her via email at mpio@taringarovers.com.auor by completing the MPIO Contact Form and sending it confidentially to her.
Our MPIO serves as an impartial and confidential point of contact, providing information about your rights, responsibilities, and options. While the MPIO does not investigate complaints, they can guide you on the appropriate steps to take.
In addition to our MPIO, TRSFC has established an Integrity Officer Unit comprising three trained officers. This structure ensures impartiality and supports our commitment to maintaining the integrity of the game and the safety of our community.
We align our practices with the frameworks set by Football Queensland, Football Australia, and the National Integrity Framework developed by Sport Integrity Australia. This alignment ensures that our policies and procedures meet national standards for safeguarding and member protection.
