Taringa Rovers SFC is excited to invite enthusiastic and dedicated coaches to join our club for the upcoming 2027 season. We welcome individuals at all levels of experience, whether you’re just starting your coaching journey or have extensive leadership experience in the football sport.

Taringa Rovers June/July School Holiday Clinic - U6 to U13
Taringa Rovers is running a three-day football clinic during the June/July school holidays, open to all children aged U6 to U13. Non-Taringa Rovers players are welcome to attend.

Jack Speare Park
Dates:
Monday 6 July, Tuesday 7 July, Wednesday 8 July
Time:
9:00am to 12:00pm each day
Drop-off is available from 8:30am
Cost:
$175 (includes GST)
Program Overview:
Days 1 and 2 will focus on fun games and skill development, including:
Running with the ball
Striking the ball
1 v 1s
First touch
Day 3:
Players aged 8 and over will take part in a Mini World Cup competition, with Nike ball prizes for the winning team.
U6 and U7 players will have their own Mini World Cup competition, with prizes for the winning team.
What to Bring:
Water bottle
Sunscreen (additional sunscreen will be available at the venue)
Coaching:
The clinic will be led by Andy Dixon, FFA C-Licence coach and Taringa Rovers Director of Coaching - Juniors.

Numbers are limited per age group and places fill quickly, so we encourage you to register early to avoid disappointment.
Our clinics are delivered by paid coaches, providing consistent and professional instruction for every player.
Sessions take place in a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment where players are encouraged to learn, develop and most importantly enjoy the game.
Our experienced Head of Juniors oversees all sessions and monitors coaching standards to ensure players receive high-quality guidance throughout the program.
The clinic runs for six weeks during the school term and is suitable for players of all ability levels. Sessions focus on developing individual skills to build confidence with the ball. Players will work on key areas including ball mastery, running with the ball, 1v1 situations, first touch and striking.
Each session concludes with small-sided mini matches, giving players the opportunity to apply what they have learned in a fun and game-based environment.
All participants must be enrolled in Squadi and registered with PlayFootball to take part.

Tuesdays: 19 May - 23 June, 2026. 4 pm - 5 pm
Thursdays: 21 May - 25 June, 2026. 4 pm - 5 pm
Please note that u8/9 kangaroo-level players must be in a TRSFC kangaroo team.
Cost: $175 Limited spaces available.
Payment Policy:
To secure your place, you must pay $175 in full at the time of booking. Due to high demand and an extensive waitlist, registrations without payment will be automatically cancelled.
B - Diploma coach Andy Dixon, the Head of junior Boys, will oversee each session. Andy brings his experience as a former professional player in England, Finland, and Belgium.
