Terms and conditions

• Terms and Conditions – Taringa Rovers School Holiday Clinic
  
  1. Enrolment and Fees
  a. Enrolment is subject to availability and confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  b. Participants must complete registration and pay all applicable fees in full to secure their place.
  c. Full payment must be received prior to participation in any session.
  d. The Club reserves the right to refuse participation where payment or required registrations are incomplete.
  
  2. Registration and Insurance Eligibility
  a. This program is a Football Queensland-sanctioned activity.
  b. To be eligible to participate and to be covered under Football Queensland and Football Australia insurance, participants must be registered and active in both the Football Australia PlayFootball system and Football Queensland’s Squadi platform, where required.
  c. The Club will provide clear instructions where additional registration steps are necessary.
  d. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure that all required registrations are completed accurately and in full prior to participation.
  e. The Club may refuse participation where required registration steps have not been completed.
  f. Participation without completing the required registration steps may affect insurance coverage and eligibility.
  
  3. Schedule and Sessions
  a. Sessions operate from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm unless otherwise advised.
  b. Session times, formats, or activities may change due to operational, safety, weather or facility considerations.
  c. Participants are responsible for arriving on time and attending scheduled sessions.
  
  4. Weather and Field Conditions
  a. Sessions may be modified, postponed or cancelled due to weather, field conditions, safety concerns or circumstances beyond the Club’s control.
  b. Where possible, the Club may offer a make-up session, credit, or alternative arrangement at its discretion. This is not guaranteed.
  
  5. Refunds and Cancellations
  a. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Club.
  b. Refunds will be considered at the discretion of the TRSFC Management Committee.
  c. An administration fee of $30 may be deducted from approved refunds.
  d. Refunds will generally only be considered for extenuating circumstances such as serious injury.
  e. No refunds will be provided for missed sessions, change of mind, illness, relocation, scheduling conflicts or similar reasons.
  
  6. Behaviour and Safety
  a. Participants must follow coach instructions and comply with club policies at all times.
  b. The Club reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or contrary to club values or safety requirements.
  c. Removal for behavioural or safety reasons may occur without refund.
  
  7. Medical Information and Fitness to Participate (High Protection Clause)
  a. Parents or guardians are responsible for providing accurate medical and emergency information during registration.
  b. Participants must be physically capable of safely participating in football activities.
  c. The Club must be informed of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or relevant health issues prior to participation.
  d. Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in exclusion from participation and may affect eligibility for refunds.
  
  8. Risk Acknowledgement and Liability
  a. Participants acknowledge that football involves inherent risks including physical injury.
  b. The Club will take reasonable steps to provide a safe environment and appropriate supervision.
  c. To the extent permitted by law, Taringa Rovers Soccer Football Club Inc. is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from participation except where caused by negligence or where liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
  
  9. Volunteer and Office Bearer Protection
  To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taringa Rovers Soccer Football Club Inc., including its committee members, office bearers, employees, coaches, volunteers and authorised representatives, shall not be personally liable for any injury, loss, damage or expense arising from participation where those individuals have acted in good faith and within the scope of their authorised role.
  
  10. Media and Photography
  Participants may be photographed or filmed for club promotional purposes unless written notice is provided prior to the program.
  
  11. Changes to Terms
  The Club may update these Terms where necessary. Participants will be notified of material changes where reasonably practicable.
  
  12. Governing Law
  These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
