MiniRoos Kick-Off Program

Registrations for Kick-off Term 2, 2022 will open later in Term 1. Check back here for the registration link.

What is MiniRoos Kick-Off?

Do you have a child keen to learn a new safe sport in a fun, friendly environment?

Then our MiniRoos Kick-Off program is just right for you.

The Miniroos Kick-Off Program is a skills based program for 4-5 year olds.

At TRSFC, we offer the program for 3.5yr olds to 5yr olds.

**If your child is turning 6 in 2022, they should be registered for our U6 program not the Kick-off Program**

The program will be offered as an 8 week program for a cost of $110 in School terms 2 & 3.
Sessions are on Saturday mornings from 8.30am - 9.30am.

The weekly sessions are the perfect introduction to the world’s most popular game for boys and girls aged between 4 and 5. Children are given a ball and have a ball! Coaches take the class through a series of football drills in the 60 minute sessions.

Every player gets plenty of time on the ball and the prime aim of each session is for children to build fundamental motor skills in a fun, engaging, and inclusive environment.

What are the benefits of signing up your children to a Kick-Off program?

Make new friends and develop social skills.

Develop values of team work, co-operation, fair play, and respect for others.

Develop a child's ability to make quick decisions and improve reaction time.

   Keep healthy by getting active.

What are the benefits for parents?

A nationally consistent program delivered by trained coaches.

   Personal accident insurance provided.

Supervision for your children in a fun, safe, welcoming environment.

Don’t forget, MiniRoos Kick-Off program is the only national program that is run through Football Federation Australia (FFA). Click here for more details of the MiniRoos Kick-Off program.

Kick-Off players are encouraged to wear the club’s Junior playing kit, the same one that is worn by all U6-U11 players. This means that should a player remain with the club they can wear the same uniform in future years, rather than having a separate uniform just for the Kick-Off program.

However, we understand that it is a significant cost if your child decides not to continue. If possible, we ask that you purchase the TRSFC playing shirt and children may wear their own shorts and socks.

Bucket Hats are optional but encouraged.

Football boots and shinpads are not required for the Kick-Off program. Normal sports joggers are adequate.

If you would like to purchase uniforms you are welcome to order from our supplier Statewide Sports.

See the UNIFORMS tab on our website for details.
